On the outside, your life might look just fine to others. But on the inside, you don't feel FINE.

You work hard to keep things moving ahead and although you don't want to feel the way you do, lately your thoughts and feelings have become heavier to manage - by yourself. Why does it seem that for everyone else around you, life seems to be easy and fluid?

What I can tell you is everyone, EVERYONE, goes through their life's journey handling pressures, stressors, expectations, responsibilities, you name it, that in time, can seem overwhelming. And, just because those other women who you "think" have it all together aren't talking about their challenges, that doesn't mean they aren't going through similar challenges.  If they aren't sharing their struggles, that can have you thinking that you shouldn't either, only having you feel a bit more alone.

In a society where we seem to put a lot of energy around appearing that everything is FINE, that pretense can take a toll. Change and transitions happen every day and few of us have life paths that are straight shots from here to there.  Most paths have twists and turns that require us to turn off auto-pilot and fine tune our navigational skills.  We are called upon to read a new map, to adjust to new situations that can be expected or unexpected, welcomed or unwelcomed, chosen or imposed, sudden or gradual.

  • Perhaps you've lost track of an important part of yourself.
  • Your self-esteem and self-compassion need uplifting.
  • You have difficulty feeling joy in life.
  • You have become familiar with feelings of worry, anxiety or stress.
  • You've wondered if there's isn't more to your life and/or career?

MY APPROACH

 I approach my work from the belief that the person is not the problem but that the problem, is the problem.  I take a ‘curious’, ‘non-judgmental’, ‘client is the expert in their life’ stance and collaborate with you to deconstruct, discover, explore and expand aspects of your life, providing you with practical tools and skills that you can use so that you can experience feeling empowered in your life, outside of my office.  I will provide you with the accountability you need to get your work done while working collaboratively alongside you.
