Where Are Your Office Located?
I have Thursday office hours in Arcadia. Looking for more flexibility and privacy? I typically coach my clients via phone and/or via Zoom based upon client preference. Please see below for more information.
Why Coach Online?
Because you have 10 places to be during your day and why spend one of them meeting in an office when you can meet in the convenience and privacy of your own home, office or other location of your choice.
If you have a cell phone that’s really all you need. Want a virtual video call? Then Wi-Fi is all you need. If you feel more comfortable and want to travel to me, that can be arranged too. I have office hours in Arcadia on Thursdays.
What Is Coaching
Coaching is a process, not a to-do list. We look at exactly what’s going on in your life, and what you want to be different. We find out where you are now, and how you got there. We find out what you want to create, and what needs to change in order to make it happen.
Coaching puts you in the driver’s seat in your life. You will understand how to make your life better. It’s your personal process of becoming more, becoming better and creating exactly what you want.
How Does Coaching Work?
Respecting that lives are busy, you receive coaching calls in the comfort and privacy of your own home or office. a time that fits with your schedule. If you are more comfortable with a video call, I use the Zoom virtual platform. This offers you increased privacy and anonymity so you can feel completely open with no distractions.
Some women who haven’t worked with a coach before don’t know what to expect on the call. Not to worry. I will do the work, just show up and be yourself.
What Is e-Coaching?
Ever wish, after talking with someone, you could just put your thoughts down on paper? Are you more comfortable expressing yourself through writing? Do you walk away from a conversation thinking that you just weren’t able to say what you really wanted to? Through writing, you feel you can really get to the heart at what you want to convey about your thoughts and feelings more than talking aloud? I get it. Together, after an initial consultation call to identify your goals, we will work together through journaling and writing, 3 weeks out of each month. At week 4, we will meet on a coaching call, either on the phone or via Zoom whatever your comfort level is to tie all the work we’ve been doing together up. You receive my coaching expertise in written form for you to always have to reflect back on as you need.
How Will You Work as My Coach?
I partner with you in an interactive and thought-provoking, creative process. This partnership is built on accountability and responsibility with you. Setting goals, having a vision for oneself is key but just as imperative is the ability to take small baby steps and be “in action” toward attaining your goals. Isn’t that the (accountability) partnership you want?
Our work is about helping you come up with options, possibilities, and opportunities where you can’t see any. Walk away with a new bag of tools and learn strategies that you can start using right away that help you make different choices now so you can stop blocking yourself from reaching your goals and getting what you want.
What is Your Style and Approach?
Why Do I Need a Coach?
Most of us struggle with self-sabotaging, self-limiting, and thoughts of doubt. And in doing so, we aren’t fully showing up for ourselves, stepping into a full life and getting the results we want to attain. Most of us have lived in our bodies so long we have lost objective perspective on who we are, what we have within to make our vision possible. The possibilities are limitless.
What is the Typical Length of Time You See a Client?
Each client is on their own individual journey, and we will always have an ongoing conversation as to when you feel ready to terminate. I do ask for a 3-month commitment in this process because change takes time and it’s an inside job. Although we all want a quick fix, I’m not the person to hire for that. If you are reading this page, isn’t it time to step into the change you want (and that has your searching for it?)
Coaching vs. Mental Health
It is my belief that not everyone needs psychotherapy or is suffering from a mental health disorder or illness.
I know this may come as a shock given I had spent 20 years as a psychotherapist but over the years I’ve met too many people who are doing OK overall but want to up-level the skills, strengths, and talents they already have while learning to fill in the gaps within themselves that has kept them stuck. People who want to move out of just surviving and step into thriving.
Coaching is future-focused, targeting solutions, not problems. Driven by goals & taking action, coaching is a collaboration, working together on equal footing. In coaching, YOU are the expert on you. I firmly believe you know where you want to land. I ask you the questions but you draw on your answers to connect the dots to get you where you want to go.
The goal of Psychotherapy is to treat mental illness and behavioral issues and symptoms that are a result of diagnosed mental health conditions. Coaching is NOT a substitute for psychotherapy or counseling, and coaching is NOT a treatment for a mental health condition,
I invite you to schedule a no-cost, 30-minute coaching call, my gift to you, to experience being coached.
