Instead of Fear, What Then?

I asked a group of women what they would rather feel if they were able to let "fear" go? These were some of the responses:
  • Calm
  • Centered
  • Motivated
  • Confident
  • Strong
  • Courageous
  • Focused
  • Balanced
  • Healthy
  • Brave
  • Contentment
  • Happiness
I made an assumption with my thinking that the women behind these answers weren't "feeling" these feelings now? They were perhaps feeling fearful by whatever challenge, opportunity or possible decision-making that was in front of them. I suggested that all of these feelings that the women want to feel in place of feeling fear, is already within them and instead of overthinking, overanalyzing, making bargains with themselves that say "If you lose (the weight) you'll feel ____), they could decide today to change their thinking and unlock those feelings that have been hibernating within them. Those feelings listed above and more are just waiting to be woken up by your new thought! What will you choose it to be?
