Courage is Not the Absence of Fear

A Lion Waiting to be Unleashed ~

You've made your "To Do" list, again and again.  If you are like me, there are a few things on your list that you haven't gotten around doing. And no matter how many times you re-write your list and clean it up, the same 1-2 things never seem to get crossed off. Why is that?

Sometimes it's Good to Live Inside One's Head ~

Sometimes we shy away from things not because of the time we think we don't have, or the money we don't think we can spend, but the courage we think is required of us to have. In my work, I teach my clients that feelings are only vibrations, and a vibration can't hurt you. Courage is a feeling, not a state of being. It is a feeling attached to a thought. It's what you make your situation mean and how you choose to think of it, where a problem can begin.

Putting One Paw In Front of The Other ~

Courage is not the absence of fear, but the going forward in spite of the fear. If you're on the edge of your comfort zone, hop out a step so you grow a little stronger.

A Lioness ~

My challenge for you today is to only think of a thought that can help you feel more neutral about taking that baby step outside of your comfort zone. You don't have to be in action (yet) - just embrace a thought about that "to do" on your list that may help you feel courageous to step out of comfort. Your baby step may be scheduling that overdue doctor's appointment, walking into the sportswear department to look at a pair of shoes  you need for that first exercise class, Googling the best on-line Meet Up groups to increase your social circle.

What's your "hop" going to look like?

Feeling stuck and want to talk your thoughts through?  Your baby step could be a 30-minute coaching call with me, my early holiday gift, to you. Get ready to feel the courage!
