Deliberate Thinking

For many of us, Monday seems to come around all too quickly and it sets the tone for the rest of our week. What is on your day planner? Anything you particularly would rather not deal with?

  • A meeting you wish you could skip out of but it's mandatory?
  • Are you meeting with a supervisee and having to lay down the law with them?
  • Do you have a school project that you feel there isn't enough time to complete and its due at the end of the week?
  • Or perhaps your in-laws are coming for dinner later tonight and you've already used all your excuses to back out of it last week.

How is your inner critic speaking to you about what your Monday will shape out to be? If our feelings, actions, and results start with how we choose to think and that our thoughts are optional, you get to decide how you want to think, about anything. Take a minute this morning, think about what may be on your To Do list and spend a minute thinking deliberately about what you will choose to think about any of it. You get to choose how you want to think about whatever plan, meeting or event, you have ahead of you, AHEAD OF TIME!.  Think how much better, stronger, more empowered, you will then show up. Perhaps Monday doesn't set the tone for the rest of the week - perhaps you and your thinking does!   My Chapter 2 online group is starting September 6 for 10-weeks. How about spending some time with 8 other women and me to get coached on some of your critical thinking that is getting in your way. You'll meet some great women, learn how powerful your mind truly is all from the comfort of your own home!
